William C. Fiedler, age 88 passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Liberty Village Manor Court, Freeport, IL. He was born on September 24, 1927 in Chicago, IL to William C. and Helen (Hank) Fiedler. William served our country in the United States Army Medical Corp from 1945-1946. He married Alyce White on January 13, 1947 in Chicago, IL. He was a pressman at the Chicago Sun-Times Newspaper. He worked as a pressman for several companies in the Chicago area for about 40 years. He retired in February 1988 and then moved to Lena.

He is survived by his wife Alyce, two sons; William (Christine) Fiedler, Larry (Julie) Fiedler and grandchildren; Kelli (John) Costa and Jason Fiedler.

At his wishes cremation rites accorded. There will be no services.
