Wilbur "Ted" W. Heck, age 83 of Windsor, WI passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born on October 28, 1936, the son of Lyle and Florence (Korth) Heck. Ted married Sue Ann Meier on September 2, 1961 in Afolkey, IL. He served his country in the United States Army.

Ted worked for FS Stephenson Service Company with LP gas, he was transferred to Dane County as the department manager. He then worked for Ag Systems in Hutchinson, MN, where he retired from as the warehouse manager for parts and equipment.

He was a member of the Grace Evangelical Church in Madison and the Evangelical Congregation Church in Cedarville. Ted was a past member of the Lena Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Deforest American Legion Post 0348.

Ted is survived by his wife Sue of Windsor, WI; son Phillip (Lori) Heck of Freeport, IL; daughters- Nancy (Tom) Jones of Albert Lee, MN and Lorene (John) Hammer of Mauston, WI; grandchildren- Caleb Heck, Ethan (Robyn) Heck, Spencer and Alexis Jones, Grace, Ruth and Joe Hammer; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Edmund Heck; sister Marion (Dennis) Wubbena of Forreston, IL; and a brother Darrel (Maribeth) Heck of Freeport.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family graveside services will be held at Cedarville Cemetery in Cedarville, IL.

Pastor Paul Bawden will officiate the services.

A memorial has been established in his memory for the VA Hospital CLC Hospice.
