Thomas J. Bodvig, age 84 of Orangeville, IL, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, in Monroe, WI.

He was born February 14, 1938, in Tappen, North Dakota, the son of Jesse and Bessie (Brown) Bodvig.  Tom married Susan Pinnow on December 21, 1977, in Weaverville, North Carolina.  He held numerous management positions including Vice President at Honeywell- Micro Switch, throughout his life he ran plants in Freeport. IL Mars Hill, NC, Galena, IL, Warren, IL, and Richardson, TX.

Tom enjoyed golfing, gardening, woodworking, playing cards and watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.  He had a special love for his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports and playing a hand or two of cards with them.

Tom is survived by his wife Susan; 3 sons- Blayne (Colleen) Bodvig, Joseph Thomm, and Jason (Antonia) Thomm; 5 grandchildren- Magnus Thomm, Joey Thomm, Elwyn Thomm, Alondra Olivo, and Andrea Olivo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and a brother.

Cremation Rites to be accorded.

Per Tom's request no services will be held at this time, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established in his name for the Orangeville Fire Department.
