Terrence "Terry" Neale Ingram, 85, of Apple River, IL, passed away on May 18, 2025, at Allure of Stockton, IL. The son of Forrest and Ida (Fiedler) Ingram, he was born November 21, 1939, in Shullsburg, WI. He lived on the family dairy farm in Apple River, IL. In 1961, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, majoring in math and physics. In 1981, Terry married Nancy Laun in Colombia, MO.
Terry taught school for several years and managed a New York Life Insurance office for most of his life. While operating an apiary until recently, he wrote and disseminated the Small Beekeepers Journal. Having a strong interest in Bald Eagles, Terry founded Eagle Valley Environmentalists in Southwest Wisconsin, followed by Eagle Nature Foundation in Apple River, IL. He traveled extensively, writing and speaking prolifically about bees and birds, particularly eagles.
Terry is survived by his brother, Duane (Mary Jo) Ingram of Loves Park, IL; nephews- Lowell (Kimberly) Ingram and Brian (Deborah) Ingram; nieces- Dianna Ingram, Lynell (Adeel) Ingram, Julie Grinde, and Donna (George) Autobee.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy, sister-Corinne Kay Grinde, and brother Loren Ingram.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are scheduled.
