Tammy Jean Reimers, age 52 of Lena Illinois passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at OSF Hospital in Rockford. She was born on July 20, 1972, in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Mervin and Linda (Smith) Mader.  Tammy was a graduate of Lena Winslow High School Class of 1991. She married the love of her life John Reimers on July 14, 1990, at the Lena United Methodist Church in Lena, Illinois.  Tammy loved animals, especially her three dogs Goldie, Princess, and Angel. She would also spend her time watching her favorite shows like Judge Judy and Cops.

Tammy is survived by her husband John Reimers of Freeport; three sons- Branden Reimers, Shawn Reimers, and Michael Reimers; Father: Mervin Mader of Lena:  brother Mark (Marie) Mader; two aunts- Debra Smith and Cheryl Smith; two uncles- Jeff (Cindy) Smith and Michael Smith; nephew-Daniel Mader.

She was preceded in death by her mother Linda Jean Mader; son Patrick Reimers; grandparents Orie and Pearl Mader.

Funeral Servies will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday January 15, 2025 at Lena United Methodist Church in Lena, Illinois.

A visitation will be   from 9:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Lena United Methodist Church in Lena, Illinois.

Reverand Melwyn Alagodi will be officiating the services.

Luncheon to follow Funeral Service at the church.

Interment will take place at Lena Burial Park.

A memorial has been established in her name.
