Obituary

Stetson Grant Moest, age 2, passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the UW's American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Stetson was born on March 30, 2022, in Monroe, WI to Grant Moest and Kristin Reed.

Stetson was a very adventurous little boy along with being the sweetest, walking to the beat of his own drum, goofy, funny, kind, loving, gentle, handsomely adorable, kept you on your toes, curious, so smart, and the best brother to his brothers. He loved big trucks and tractors, playing in the dirt and rocks while snacking on it. Being outside mowing with dad and going for walks with mom. He simply just loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mom, Dad, Dex, and Pierson will miss you terribly. You were our whole world, and will be in our hearts forever and always.

Stetson is survived his parents- Grant Moest and Kristin Reed of Gratiot, WI; 2 brothers- Dexton and Pierson; Grandparents- Steve and Janeen Moest of Winslow, IL, Duane Reed of Lena, IL and Tricia Lobdell of Lena, IL; Great-Grandparents- Duane Lobdell, Anton Moest and Eileen Kuehl; Aunts and Uncles- John (Abby) Schroeder, Becca (Cody Wiederholt) Moest, Ben Moest, Kady (Nick)  Krogman, Kari Reed, Maverick Cass, and Jayce, Baylee and Alex Reed; cousins- Claire Krogman, Landyn, Charlie and Brooks Schroeder and Helen Wiederholt.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents- Sharon Lobdell, Gail and Claris Reed and Gertrude Moest.

A private family service will be held.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
