Shirley K. Lingle age 82, passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Freeport Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on January 8, 1936 in Casey, IL to Darrel and Ruby Smith. She married Carlos Lingle on April 17, 1955 in Robinson, IL and together they raised one daughter and four sons. She enjoyed cooking, traveling with Carlos, spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Carlos, children; Karla (Wiley) Work of Lamar, CO, Kevin (Mary) Lingle of Monroe, WI, Bill (Pam) Lingle of Canton, IL, Carl (Shelly) Lingle of Winslow, IL and Rob (Darla) Lingle of Winslow, IL. 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Sister; Phyllis Neeley and Brother; Medford (Claudette) Smith, Sister-in-law; Helen Head, brother's-in-law; Bobby Lingle and Jack Poole.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.

Private family services will be held.

A memorial has been established in her name.
