Sandra Jo (Kupersmith) Fox, 81, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Monday November 20, 2017. She was born on August 26, 1936 in Freeport to Ernest and Frances (Smith) Kupersmith.

Sandra married Thomas Fox on December 15, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. Together they raised 3 children. She graduated from Stockton High School in 1954, Rockford Memorial School of Nursing in 1957. She worked as an RN at Freeport Memorial Hospital and the Monroe Clinic. Sandra was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, going to sporting events, bowling, playing cards; bridge and euchre. Education was key for her, her children, and her grandchildren. She will be remembered as being fun and having a good sense of humor and quick witted.

Sandra is survived by three children; Terry (Bill) Wubben of Scales Mound, Laurie (Peter) Pasteris of Oswego, IL and Brad (Colleen) Fox of Stockton.

Seven grandchildren; Sophie Wubben, Carly and Emma Pasteris, Jordan, Thomas, Hayden, and Ellen Fox. And several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas on June 7, 1996, three sisters; Betty Nadig, Joyce Koch, June Spinhirne.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Holy Cross Church in Stockton,

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Holy Cross Church in Stockton.

Father Mike Morrissey will officiate.

Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Stockton.

A memorial has been established in her name.
