Stockton-Sally Reifsteck, age 71, passed away Wednesday May 20, 2015 at her home. She was born on October 29, 1943 at home to Clifford and Bernice (Reddington ) Krippendorf. Sally graduated from Hanover High School in 1962. Sally married Richard Reifsteck on June 25th 1962. She had a love for so many people and she was loved by so many. Her best treasure in life was her children and her grandchildren who she adored so much. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports, doing agility with her chocolate Lab Coco and doing agility with her friends Kay, Patty, Carrol and Lynn. She belonged to the Forest City Dog Club in Loves Park where she did agility training and agility competition. She was active in yoga and went on yoga retreats with her daughter. She was always there for her husband who was her best friend for the past 53 years of marriage.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Richard of Stockton; son Ritchie (Marilyn) Reifsteck of Stockton; daughter Deborah (Stuart) Adams of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren Robbie and Chandler Reifsteck of Stockton; sisters- Shirley Holmes and Dorthy Orth; brother Leroy (Sally) Krippendorf; and brother-in-law Don (Becky) Reifsteck.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Bernice Krippendorf; mother and father-in- law Don and Marge Reifsteck; sister Judy Wild; brother-in-laws Donnie Orth and Richard Holm.

A special thank you to Father Mike, sister Julia, Jean and Hillery from Hospice Home Care from the Monroe Clinic. Thank you to Dr. Anderson from the Monroe Clinic who went above the call of duty, it made Sally feel very special. Thank you to Leann Sally's home care nurse from the Monroe Clinic, UW Cancer Center for the great doctors and nurses, Monroe Hospice Homecare girls for all their loving care, Stockton WA-TAN-YE club, Mal and Danie at the Lena Bed and Biscuit for taking care of Coco, sister-in-law Sally Krippendorf who was always there for us, her many friends that were there for her in her time of need, and for all the food, cards and flowers that made her so happy.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till time of service on Friday May 22, 2015 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton, IL.

Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton.

Officiating will be Father Mike Morrissey.

Interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Safe Haven Humane Society in Elizabeth, IL.
