Ruth Ann Eilders, 81 of Rockford, Il passed away September 16 ^th at The Arbors at Autumn Creek in Cape Girardeau, MO. Ruth Ann was born October 15, 1937 in Stephenson County, IL to the late Elmer W. and Helen Shadle Gartner. She graduated from Lena High School in 1955 and married her high school sweetheart, the late William J. Eilders, on June 24, 1956. Ruth Ann made a career of bookkeeping and enjoying crocheting as well as knitting.

Ruth Ann is survived by two children: Jeffrey Steven Eilders (Sandra) of Ridgeland, MS and Douglas Kendall Eilders of Sikeston, MO; four grandchildren: Hope Eilders VanEtten (Jesse) of Brandon, MS, Kathryn Lee Eilders of Collinsville, IL, Hannah Marie Nenninger (Corey) of Oran, MO and Steven William Eilders of Ridgeland, MS; and four great-grandchildren: Camdyn Finley Nenninger, Anna Lyzabeth Kathryn Eilders, Connor Stanley Nenninger, and Baylee Sarah VanEtten.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Helen & Elmer Gartner, husband, William John Eilders, son, Timothy Scott Eilders and her sister and brother-in-law Janet & Russell Aspinwall. .

Friends and family may come to pay their respects at the memorial service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport on October 5 ^th at 11:00 AM.
