Russell "Corky" Logemann, 76 of Lena, IL, passed away August 7, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 27, 1940 in Freeport, IL, the son of Earl and Thelma (Cropper) Logemann. He married Marcia Paulsen on March 23, 1962 in Peoria, IL. Corky worked for Crum and Forster Insurance Company and later at Western States Insurance Company as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter. In his retirement years he worked as a driver for Tri-State Tours out of Galena, IL. He enjoyed wintering in Fort Meyers, Florida and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He was deeply devoted to his family and friends.

Corky was a wonderful and loving man and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Marcia of Lena, 3 children- Lori Logemann of Nora, IL, Bret (Darla) Logemann of Leewood, KS, and Heather (Brian) England of Wheaton, IL; 10 grandchildren- Natalia (Mike) McCool of Winslow,IL, Erick (Melissa) Brenes of Peotone, IL, Leann Meyers of Lena, Ashlee Logemann (Bernard Cooper) of Oak Lawn, IL, Cole Logemann of Rockford, IL, Jessica Medina of Ottawa, IL, Cassidy Logemann of Leewood, KS, Owen, Brianne and Evan England of Wheaton, IL; 4 great-grandchildren- Zach McCool, Weston and Dax Brenes, and Kennedy Cooper; brother Robert (Marlene) Logemann of Largo, FL; sister-in-law Trudi (Larry) O'Neill of Freeport; mother-in-law Lois I. Paulsen of Lena; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Andy Paulsen.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will hold a celebration of life gathering at a later date.
