Obituary

Rosalie "Rosie" Mary Jacquiline Yeager, age 79, of Pearl City, IL passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, in Freeport, Illinois. Rosie was born on September 19, 1943 to Harold and Lola (Hasselman) Raders in Stephenson County. Rosie worked at Honeywell-Mirco Switch for over 30 years. She was always very proud to share she played a part in the manufacturing of the switches for the 1 st Apollo Mission to the Moon. After her retirement she helped bartend at the Slurp-N-Burp in Loran, Illinois and even had a card group she used to play Euchre with there as well. Rosie was a very social person and overall a friend to all. She loved spending time with her family and friends but adored her grandchildren most of all.

Rosie is survived by her daughter- Dawn (Jeff) Brandt of Freeport; five grandchildren- Jessie (Danielle) Jacobs, Casey Anthony, Geddy (Kevin) Bond, Jamie Brandt, Brandon Miller; six great grandchildren- James and William Anthony, Hayes Jacobs, Wyatt, Scarlett, and Emelie Miller; step grandchildren-Gabriella Hornung, Drew Rogers-Hornung; Step great grand:  Santino (Sonny) Rogers-Hornung; one sister- Janice (Wayne) Yonkus; nieces and nephews Shelby (Robert) Ditsworth and Nevin Yonkus

She is preceded in death by her parents; two children Brenda Kohler and Todd Pittsley

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at The Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, Illinois.

A Celebration of Life will be at Coach's Golf and Grill at 6:00PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Cremation rights have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
