Obituary

Ronda Kay Heiler passed away peacefully at her Lena Home on Sunday, April 27, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.  She was born March 19, 1964, in Freeport, Il to Ronald and Judith (Squires) Pfeiffer. Ronda Adored spending time with family, motorcycling, and live music.  She loved gardening, bird watching and always enjoyed a trip into Chicago for a Cubs game. She especially enjoyed the NFL season, watching her favorite teams…Steelers, Cowboys, Chiefs but her favorite was the Minnesota Vikings.

She had a sunny personality that lit up a room wherever she was, she had a heart of gold. She always put the needs of others before her own. Her lifelong credo was "little things mean a lot."

She is survived by her husband Steve Heiler of 42 years, son Michael and daughter Jamie (Patrick) Reed. Grandson Camden Reed all of Lena. She is also survived by her sister Lori Castle of Freeport, IL and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Rick Squires and sister Robin Pfeiffer and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 11:00AM till 1:00PM at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

A memorial has been established in her name.
