Robert A. Knight, age 56 of Lena, IL, passed away on Saturday May 16, 2020 in Monroe, WI. He was born March 13, 1964 in Freeport, IL, the son of Rodney and Elizabeth (Graves) Knight. Robert married Debra Gempler in 1986 in Freeport. He worked for Monroe Truck for many years, prior to that he worked for Anchor Harvey in the tool and die section. Robert had a passion for hunting and fishing that later turned into lessons for the kids and grandkids always had a lending hand and a burst of knowledge that will forever be cherished by his loved ones. Although his presence is absent, Robert will be remembered by many for his caring soul and upbeat attitude.

Robert is survived by his wife Debra of Lena; 2 daughters- Kim Knight of Freeport and Kailea Knight of Lena; son Robbie (Morgan) Knight of Cedarville; 2 grandchildren Drake and Trevin Taylor; 2 brothers- Mike (Michelle) Knight of Freeport and Ron (Marlene) Knight of Freeport; and a sister Sharon (Gary) Schwartz of Freeport.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 2:00- 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 1569 North Bolton Road in Freeport, IL.
