Robert B. Heller, 85 of Lena passed on Monday January 30, 2017 at the Monroe Hospital. He was born on May 18, 1931 to Reynold and Ella (Siegel) Heller in Jo Daviess County, IL. He graduated from East Dubuque High School in 1949. He married Verlea M. Bahr on April 15, 1951 at the Schapville Presbyterian Church. He served our County in the United States Navy. He lived and breathed farming all his life.

He is survived by 5 children; Cindy Drye of Lena, IL, Tim (Madonna) Heller of East Dubuque, IL, Anthony (Mary Beth) Heller of Alexandria, VA, Julie Jiles of Elgin, IL and Tom Heller of Kent, IL, Brother; Foster Heller of Stockton, IL and sister; Joyce Meyer of West Bend, WI. 10 grandchildren; Krista (Matt Hunter) Karnatz of Tucson, AZ, Matthew, David and Jane Heller of VA, Berin (Katie) Jackson of Freeport, IL, Cyril Jackson of OH, Jennifer Jiles of Elgin, IL, Jon Heller of Stockton, IL, Jacob Heller of Freeport, IL and Lexie McIntosh of Freeport, IL. 3 great grandchildren; Brayden and Harper Jackson of Freeport, IL, Jacob Hunter of Tucson, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 4 brothers; Harold, Arnold, Lester and Clayton Heller.

Private family funeral services will be held.
