Robert M. Coomber age 58, of Lena passed away on Tuesday June 26, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 19, 1959 in Freeport, IL to Merle "Dusty" and Florence Goldie (Wirtjes) Coomber. He graduated from Lena Winslow High School in the class of 1977. He married Susan Klontz on October 5, 1996 in McConnell, IL. He farmed for many years in the Lena area. He then worked for the Freeport Park District and then the Lena Park District. He was a member of the Yellow Creek Church of Brethren. He enjoyed watching all sports and was a serious Cub's Fan. He especially enjoyed following the Lena Winslow High School sports.

He is survived by his wife Susan of Lena and one daughter Tillie of Lena. 2 sisters; Sue (Bob) Barajas of Sterling, IL and Pam (Ian) MacGillis of Hopkins, MI, Nieces; Elaine Beitelspacher, Holly Klosowski and Theresa Halstead, Nephew; Robert Barajas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Grace Free Methodist Church in McConnell.

Visitation will be from 4:00 till 7:00 PM on Friday June 29, 2018 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

Officiating will be Pastor Richard Broberg and Pastor Matthew Smith.

Burial will be at Lena Burial Park.

A memorial has been established in his name.
