Robert H. Bornmann of Lena, passed away on December 22, 2017 at Presence Saint Joseph Center in Freeport, IL. Bob was born on June 7, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI to Christian H. Bornmann and Margaret Fersch. Bob served as a medic from the U.S Army during WWII in the Pacific.

Bob married Ella C. Kiewitt on June 5, 1948. They had two daughters Barbara (Kim) Westergaard of Delavan, WI and Jean Koertner of Lena. Bob worked as a tool and die maker at A.O Smith in Milwaukee until his retirement. After his retirement, Bob enjoyed spending time with his family on Green Lake, WI making many woodworking projects and participated in activities with the American Legion.

Bob is survived by his daughters, grandchildren: Rebecca (Robert) Pennimann, Ryan (Mary) Westergaard, of Brad (Jennifer) Westergaard, Brooke (Dan) Baldauf and Kristin Jones, 15 great-grandchildren, and one niece Janet (Robert) Hinz.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Harold, his wife Ella, and son-in-law Gerald Koertner.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W Geneva Street, Delavan, WI.

Pastor Robert Rickman will officiate the services.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
