Robert J. Aurand, 88 of South Wayne, WI, passed away on June 12, 2018 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital, in Monroe, WI. He was the son of Elso and Marguerite (Grabow) Aurand.

Robert farmed all of his life as a farmer, and he served as a Deputy Sheriff for Lafayette County, Wisconsin for many years. Robert was a 4 ^th degree instructor for Taekwondo for 15 years. In his early years he was a delivery man for Stouffer's Lane View Poultry.

He loved to fish and hunt as well as planting gardens and cooking.

Surviving is a daughter; Jessica (Bill) Engelke of South Wayne, WI, three sons; Robert E. (Cathy) Aurand of Lena, IL,  David (Susie) Aurand of South Wayne, WI, Joseph Aurand of South Wayne, WI.  two brothers; James (Carol) Aurand of Warren, IL, John Aurand of Phoenix, AZ. A special longtime friend Penny Merrick of DeKalb, IL also survives him.

13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gerald Aurand daughter Rebecca one granddaughter Michele and one grandson Jared.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.

Pastor Kevin Cernek will officiate at the services.

Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of service on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Per his request cremation Rites were accorded.
