Retha Blackbourn age 86, passed away on Monday December, 7, 2020 at Azura Memory Care in Monroe, WI. She was born on January 17, 1934 to Orlando and Anice (McKillup) LaDow in Darlington, WI. She married Chester Pattinson in 1953 and then married Charles Blackbourn in 1978. She worked at Micro Switch in Warren, IL.  She was a former member of the Red Hatters, Warren Village Trustee, Warren Beautification Committee, President of the Warren Women's Club and President Warren Historical Society.

She is survived by seven children; Ronita Hickman, Ron Pattinson, Samuel Pattinson, Gary Pattinson, Tammy Palmer and Tom Pattinson, seven grandchildren; Sara Bishop, Jesse Feldt, Sadie Pattinson, Seth Pattinson, Emily Tanhauser, Hannah Palmer and Heather Smith, seven great grandchildren, one sister Lynda and two brothers, LaVerne and Joe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Brenda Lee, siblings Helen, Terry, Jack, Leroy, Lois and Mary.

Private family services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, Illinois.

A memorial has been established in her name.
