Phyllis V. Hulbert, 86, of Lena, IL passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. She was born on July 13, 1931 to Stanley and Edna (Loomis) Rayhorn in Freeport, IL. She married Eldred Hulbert on August 2, 1950. Phyllis worked as a CNA for the Monroe Hospital and Clinics, and she was a manager at Sun Valley Apartments from 1990-1997. She was a member of the Lena United Methodist Church.

Phyllis is survived by her children; Steven Hulbert of Chicago, IL, Jeannette (David) Fransen of Springfield, OR, Tina (Neil) Diddens of McConnell, IL, Gail (Robert) Werkheiser of Stockton, IL, and Nick (Tracey) Hulbert of McConnell, IL; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eldred, brother Eugene, and granddaughter Mellissa Shumaker.

Private graveside services will be held at the Lena Burial Park, in Lena, IL.

Pastor Keri Rainsburger will officiate the services.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in her name.
