Lena-Pauline Saxby, age 91, passed away at her home on Tuesday July 29, 2014. She was born on February 5, 1923 in Stockton, IL to Fred and Grace (Stichter) Entmeier. She married Warren Saxby on June 25, 1942 in Dundee, IL. He passed away on October 3, 1998. Pauline was employed at Burgess Battery and for several years at Micro Switch before retiring in 1981.

Pauline was very active St. John's Lutheran Church Women's Club. She loved to cook, play cards and board games.

She is survived by her children: Karen Dundee of Freeport, Teresa Krider of Orangeville, Eugene Saxby of Lena, and Tracy (Craig) Robieson of Lena; one sister: Wilma Entmeier of Poteau, Oklahoma. Twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; son: Gerry Saxby; Daughter: Sharon Van Heeren and sister: Phyllis McIlvanie.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church on Monday, August 4, 2014.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

Officiating will be Rev. Rick Bader.

Burial will be at Lena Burial Park.
