Patricia L. Thill, 89, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Manor Court in Freeport, IL.  Patricia was born on March 17, 1936, in Stephenson County, IL to Ralph and Lillian (Gillette) Heyer. She married David Thill on October 12, 1954, at the Nazarene Church in Stockton, IL.

Patricia was employed by J.C. Penny Department Store in Freeport for 32 years.  She took great pride in her work and especially loved helping families find just what they needed.

She found joy in ceramics, gardening, canning vegetables & beef, going to craft fairs with Dave, fishing, camping, traveling, and square dancing.  Patricia treasured time spent with her family and created many lasting memories through her warmth, kindness, and steady presence.

Patricia is survived by her children: Michael (Vicki) Thill, Colleen Thill, Tim (Mary Beth) Thill and Chari Thill; grandchildren: Jeremy Thill, Nicole Thill, Kristin Tiesman, Ashley Jackson, Trent Thill, Erin Thill and Emma Thill; great grandchildren: Lincoln, Zack, Cordell, Addison, Alijah, Lydia and Antonio, Kehloni, Cairo; great great grandchild Oliver.

She was preceded by her husband, David (2024); parents, brother, Gordon Heyer and sister, June Mahon.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9,2026 at 11:00am at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

A visitation will be on Monday, March 9,2026 from 9:00am until 11:00am at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.
