Patricia "Pat" Kurth, 85, of Lena, IL passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. She was born to Henry and Marion (Saxby) Tessendorf on October 14, 1936, in Lena, IL. She married Peter H. Kurth at the Martintown Church on March 19, 1954, and together they had 10 children. Throughout Pat's life she was employed at Structo, Turners, Kent Cheese and Burgess Batteries. She also helped others with cleaning houses and babysitting.

Pat was a member of the Martintown Community Church in Martintown, WI. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, all different kinds of gardening, doing word searches, visiting and helping her friends, family and neighbors but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Pat is survived by her 8 children- Rick (Bariney) Kurth of Brighton, Co, Mary Kurth of Belvidere, IL Judy (John) Hartman of Fairdale, IL, Tom (Angela) Kurth of Rochelle, IL, Brenda Kurth of Warren, IL, Scott (Jennifer) Kurth of Warren, IL, Dusty Kurth of La Crosse, WI, and Steve Kurth of Sycamore, IL ; sister- Vicky (Mark) Rogers of Lena, IL; sister in law- Marsha Tessendorf;  and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Peter in 1991, 2 children- Karl and Terrance in infancy: sister- Caroline Tessendorf and brother -Frances "Mike" Tessendorf.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 4, 2022 at the Leamon's Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. and go until time of service.

Pastor Kevin Cernek will be officiating the service.

Burial will take place at Rock Lily Cemetery in Winslow, IL.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
