Oran W. Allvin ,90, of Warren, passed away on Monday November 6, 2017 at his home. He was born on May 13, 1927 in Warren, IL to Thomas R. and Loretta B. (McKee) Allvin. He married Loraine Goetler on September 21, 1951 in Rockton, IL. He worked for Fairbanks Morris in Beloit, Barber Coleman in Loves Park, IL, and Green Manufacturing in Rockton, IL. In 1972 he and his wife bought Oran and Loraine's Bar in downtown Warren, managed the Lena Golf Club for 2 years and then worked at Cox Construction until retirement. He was a past member of the Warren Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was avid golfer and bowler.

Oran is survived by his 4 children; Thomas Allvin in Colorado, Curtis Allvin in Las Vegas, NV, Debra Haas in Freeport, IL, and Richard (Megan) Allvin in Lena, IL;three grandchildren; Marcus Haas, Kathleen Allvin and Josh Heim; two great grandchildren; Derrick and Addison Haas; 1 sister in law Rosemary Allvin in Green Valley, AZ; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, 2 daughters; Kathleen Rae Allvin and Beverly Allvin, 1 granddaughter Melissa Heim, 2 brothers; Eldon R. Allvin and Austin E. Allvin.

Private family memorial services will be held.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 till 2:00 PM on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in his name.
