Norma I. Streeb,86, formerly of Lena passed away on August 8, 2018 at the Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. Norma was born on April 8, 1932 in Morton, IL. She was the daughter of Edward and Pauline (Potts) Kaufman. Norma graduated from Procter Hospital School of Nursing, in Peoria, IL. She married Kenneth Streeb on September 4, 1953 in Morton, IL. Her entire nursing career centered on the care of the geriatric nursing patients. She started working at the Restmore Nursing Home in Morton, IL where she served 19 years. When they moved to the Lena area she worked for 1 year for the Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport, IL. The last 29 years were spent working for the Lena Continental Nursing Home in Lena, IL. Norma was a member of the Lena United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and the White Shrine. Norma spent her leisure time reading books.

She is survived by three sons- Dave (Laurie) Streeb of Arlington, TX, Douglas Streeb of Madison, WI and Dan Streeb of Freeport, IL; grandson John (Bridget) Streeb of Nacogdoches, TX; granddaughter Sara Streeb of Bolingbrook, IL; sister Phyllis (Don) Shepherd of Redwood, City, CA; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth in 1993, daughter Paula M. Streeb, sister Doris Dallinger and two brothers Gerald Kaufman and Don Kaufman.

Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Lena United Methodist Chuch.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. til Noon on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Lena United Methodist Church.

Pastor Keri Rainsberger and Rev. Brian LeBaron will officiate at the services.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton, Illinois.
