Norma J. Sigafus, age 79 of Apple River, IL, passed away on Sunday March 15, 2020 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1940 in Orangeville, IL to Warren and Dorothy (Morton) Bennehoff. She married Gordon Sigafus on November 22, 1961 in Freeport, IL and he passed away on April 5, 2008.

Norma is survived by her children- Dee Ann Sigafus of Waukegan, IL, Gordon (Kristine) Sigafus of Waukegan, Bradley Sigafus of Apple River, William Sigafus of Waukegan, IL, Wayne (Donna) Sigafus of Beach Park, IL, Nancy (Tarence Jenkins) Curry of Waukegan; grandchildren- Mike Sigafus, Nica Sigafus, William Sigafus Jr., Tiahra Jenkins, Jenna Sigafus, Joey Sigafus, Tarecjha Jenkins, Kassandra Sigafus and Audie Kate Sigafus; great grandchildren- Tatyanna, Kaine, Karsin, Marley, Tamila and Tariah; brothers and sisters- Donna Holloway, Donald (Sally) Bennehoff and Joyce Hodge; brother-in-law Wayne Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordon, grandson Joshua, sisters Gayle and Diane; brothers-in-law- James, Lewis and Donald.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home, with a visitation from noon until the time of service on Saturday.

Officiating will be Pastor Randy Nicholas.

Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery.
