Norma J. (Scott) Robieson, age 98 of Lena peacefully passed away in her sleep on Wednesday August 12, 2026, at Serenity Estates in Lena. She was born on May 14, 1928, in Ridott Township, IL, to Edward and Jennie (Allen) Gantz. She married Richard L. Scott on July 10, 1950, in Freeport, IL. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1966. She then married Lawrence Robieson on December 19, 1969, in Freeport at the Methodist Church. Norma worked at the Sizzle Shop, Moogks Drug Store, Emmerts Drug Store, and Micro Switch. She farmed with her husband most of her life. Norma was a member of Lena United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling.

Norma is survived by two children- Judith Scott of Freeport, IL and Gary (Beata) Scott of Green Valley, AZ; three step-children- Fonda Wardell of Westfir, OR, Kevin (Connie) Robieson of Lena, IL, and Rene’ Megan of Winter Garden, FL; four step-grandchildren, and eight step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands- Richard Scott and Lawrence Robieson, seven siblings- Florence Nieman, Ethel Nieman, Harold Gantz, David Gantz, Chester Gantz, Dorothy Sack, and Irene Boland.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday August 19, 2026, at the Lena United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Officiating will be Rev. Melwyn Alagodi.

Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

A memorial has been established in her name.
