Obituary

Norbert M. Mlott, 94, of Stockton, formerly of Lake Zurich, IL, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was born June 6, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Clara (Tomczak) Mlotkowski.

He married Beverly Ann Eichmann on June 18, 1955, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Zurich, IL. Norbert served in the United States Army from 1942-1945 where he fought in World War II.  He went on to be the plant supervisor at Burgess Vibrocrafters Inc. for 18 years. He then started his own dry-cleaning business in the early 1960's and continued until his retirement in 1990.

He loved being outside and taking care of his property. He made it enjoyable and when he was finished, he took extra pride in the fact that it looked like a park. Norbert was a huge fan of golfing and bowling. During the winter months they would travel to South Padre Island in Texas and Florence, Arizona.  He would enjoy listening to music but always preferred his Jazz.

Norbert is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Beverly Ann (Eichmann) Mlott of Stockton, formerly of Lake Zurich, Illinois; four Children- Julie (Joseph) Kedzior of Streamwood, Illinois, Jim (Lynne) Mlott of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jill Rice of Harrisville, Michigan, Joan (Randy) Brown of Lake Zurich, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three brothers-in-laws Glen (Peggy) Eichmann, Kevin (Siony) Eichmann, Dale (Tammy) Eichmann; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters- Helen (Osman) Durmus, and Alice (Henry) Buch.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton, IL.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton, IL.

Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Stockton, IL.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory for Holy Cross Catholic Church.
