Michael E. Green, age 76, of Nora passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Mike was born in Freeport, IL to William and Letha Green. In recent years he and his dog Sugar drove a truck, seasonally, for Harbach Farms.  He owned and operated Green Construction for many years. Prior to that he farmed. "Greenie" enjoyed playing Euchre every morning with his friends in Warren. He was proud to share his homemade horseradish with family, friends, and neighbors.

Mike is survived by three daughters; Laura( Jon) Watson of Freeport, IL, Elizabeth (Todd West) Green of Oregon, IL and Jennifer (Anthony) Garcia of Oswego, IL, two stepchildren; Audra (Joe) Ries of Bellevue, IA and Jonathan (Morgan) Pentico of Scales Mound, IL, nine grandchildren; siblings; Georgianna Johnson, Joseph (Joyce) Green, Patrick (Diane) Green, Charles Green; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Sugar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Mary Arlene Green.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lena.

Visitation from 9:00 until time of service at the church.

Officiating will be Pastor Jason Shaw.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.

A luncheon will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church.
