Lena-Maynard Duwayne Jordan, age 86, of Lena, IL went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's surrounded by his children Sunday May 25, 2014.

Maynard was born April 15th, 1928 and is survived by his seven children, sons Charles (Jeanne), Richard (Nancy), Dennis (Sally), Jeffrey (Lyn), and Brian (Jennifer), Daughters Barbara (John) Clouser & Susette (Gregory) Altman, two brothers Larry (Shirley), Gary (Cathy), two sisters Dorothy Merchant and Linda (Edward) Knoup, 16 loving grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Maynard was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all.

Maynard worked for Werhane Enterprises in Lena, IL prior to his retirement. He loved his hometown of Lena and enjoyed sports and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

A time of gathering will be from 3:00 till 6:00 P.M. at the Leamon Funeral Home, in Lena, IL on Saturday, May 31, 2014 with a memorial service at 6:00 P.M.

A private cemetery service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL.

A memorial has been established in his name.
