Marybelle G. Hay, age 93 of South Wayne, WI, went to be with her husband and parents on September 16, 2020.  She was born on July 21, 1927 in a little farm house on Mayer Road in Browntown, WI, the daughter of Elmer and Meta (Frank) Tieman.  Marybelle attended the Penny and Stol Grade Schools and then graduated from South Wayne High School.  She married Rolland F. Hay on August 17, 1947 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren. Marybelle and Rolland farmed for 40 years on Hay Road in South Wayne. She also worked for Cook's and the Lena Continental Manor. She was an avid collector of Santa Clauses and enjoyed entertaining for family and friends. Marybelle loved spending time on the water and going on trips.

Marybelle is survived by a son David (Kay) Hay of South Wayne; daughter Anne (Dennis) Lancaster of South Wayne; 5 grandchildren-  Kyle Hay, Devon (Todd) Mailandt, Danica (Travis) Skattum, Emily and Adam Lancaster;  6 great-grandchildren who called her Grama Muffin- Jordan, Cameron, and Brian Hay, Spencer Hay-Skattum, Gavin and Lydia Skattum; special friend Lawrence and Phyllis Seffrood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rolland on August 25, 2000, infant granddaughter, and special friend Phyllis Leitzen.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September, 18, 2020 at the Bartell Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Elmwood Cemetery.

If you wish to bring your own lawn chair to the service that is encouraged.

Officiating will be Vicar Michelle Knight.
