Obituary

M. Michelle Lethlean, 68, of Warren, Illinois passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, February 14, 2022. Michelle was born November 13, 1953, to Ralph and Marjorie (Eckerman) Homb in Freeport, IL. She married Robert L. Lethlean II on November 24, 1973, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Warren, IL and together they raised 3 children; Amy, Jeremy, and Abby. Michelle worked as an LPN at FHN Hospital in Freeport for 48 years. She was passionate about helping people and loved her work family.

Michelle enjoyed crocheting, day trips, hanging out with her friends, family and grand pups. She was known for her baking, especially her cookies. She was an avid Cubs and Packers fan. She loved spending time around her house and out in the yard. Faith was very important to her. She was a lifelong member at St. Ann's in Warren.

Michelle is survived by her 3 children: Amy Lethlean of Warren, Jeremy (Yulia) Lethlean of Janesville, WI, Abby (Chad Nelson) Lethlean of Milwaukee, WI; 5 grand-pups: Teila, Meya, Murphy, Wrigley, and Oliver; 6 brothers and 1 sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, sister Noreen Gile and mother-in-law Doris Quakenbush.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Warren, IL.

A visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022, at The Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL. A rosery will be said prior to the visitation at 3:30 pm.

Officiating will be Father Andrew.

Burial at St. Ann's cemetery immediately following the funeral.

A memorial has been established in her name.
