Marjorie M. Klever, 93, of Lena, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Lena Living Center in Lena. She was born on May 21, 1924 to Oliver and Bessie (Brobst) Rees in Freeport, IL. She married William "Bill" Klever on February 7, 1945. She farmed alongside Bill until their retirement. She worked at Micro Switch prior to her marriage. Marjorie enjoyed baking, especially cinnamon rolls, cooking, and canning, especially pickles. She shared her baked goods with family and friends. Marjorie's nature was unselfish and she never complained. Bill and Marjorie traveled to Alaska, and went on a cruise. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marjorie is survived by her son; Jim (Marilyn) Klever of Lena, daughters; Mary (Russ) Hruby of Petersburg, IL and Carol (Rich) Wickersham of Lena, eight grandchildren; Laura (Matt) Morrison, Ryan (Christal) Klever, Sara (Steve) Bonebright, Scott (Carrie) Hruby, Christopher (Anna) Hruby, Justin Hruby, Megan (Jim) Renner and Cole (Jordon) Wickersham; and 16 great grandchildren, Sister-in-law; Nancy Klever, and an aunt and great-aunt to several.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bill in 2009, sister Marian Kiburz, brothers-in-law Paul Klever and Daniel Kiburz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

A visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of services at the Leamon Funeral Home.

Pastor Keri Rainsburger will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport.

A memorial has been established in her name.
