Marjorie Mae Bird's Obituary
Marjorie M. Bird, age 89 of Warren, passed away on Saturday November 29, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI.
She was born on October 29, 1925 in Blanchardville, WI, the daughter of James and Martha (Cromey) Walrack. Marjorie married Roy Winslow and had four boys prior to his death. She then married Harry Bird and they had two sons. Marjorie worked for the Micro Switch Plant in Warren for over 25 years.
She is survived by four sons – Duane Winslow of Gratiot, WI, Dean (Nancy) Winslow of Darlington, WI, Alan (Diane) Winslow of Darlington, WI, and Billy (Penny) Bird of Warren,IL; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband Roy Winslow, second husband Harry Bird, her parents, two sons- Earl Winslow and Kenny Bird, three sisters- Alice Hawkinson, Clara Walrack, Dorothy Kundert, and one brother Jim Walrack.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren, IL.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., immediately following the visitation, at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home.
Pastor Kevin Cernek will officiate.
Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren.
