Lois A. Niesman, 85, of Stockton, formally of Lena, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, less than a week after her loving husband Alvin, at FHN Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Savanna, IL on July 17, 1935 to Howard and Alice (Blair) Ditsworth.  She married Alvin Niesman on July 25, 1952.

Lois worked as a nurses assistant at the Lena Living Center. She enjoyed gambling and gardening with Alvin. Her and Alvin enjoyed going to the Slurp and Burp for a meal and gambling.

She is survived by 2 daughters- Marcie (Gary) Hartwig, and Kathie (Mike) Roling; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alvin, her parents, infant son Greg, and daughter Peggy.

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until time of service on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Jonathan Singleton will be officiating the service.

Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
