Freeport-Lois I. Ferguson, age 83 passed away on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 31, 1933 in Waddams Township, Lena, IL to Chester and Louise (Mast) Howe. She married Keith Ferguson on June 30, 1951 in Lena, IL. She graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1951. She helped on the family farm until retirement in April 1990. Past member of the Winslow Women's Club and the Winslow Methodist Church. She was a den mother for Winslow Cub Scout Troop. She was a member of the McConnell United Methodist Church in McConnell, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her son; Thomas (Debra) Ferguson of Janesville, WI,daughter-in –law; Angela Ferguson of Lena, IL three granddaughters; Sarah (Jeremy) Loomis of West Bend, WI, Sandy (Justin) Liles of Duluth, MN and Stephanie Ferguson of Columbus, OH. two grandsons; Dennis Ferguson of Stockton, IL and Matthew Ferguson of Rock City, IL. Two brothers; Dale (Sharon) Howe of Bertha, MN and Maurice (Lynne) Howe of Lena, IL. Sister-in-law; Joan Howe of Monroe, WI., and a sister; Evelyn Behuniak of Freeport, IL, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith in 2007, son; James Ferguson in 1990, granddaughter; Sabrina Hirschfeld, two sisters; Thelma Simpson and Delores Werkheiser, brothers; Norman and Donald Howe.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00AM on Saturday October 15, 2016 at the McConnell United Methodist Church in McConnell, IL.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until time of service.

Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Pastor Matt Smith will officiate the services.

A memorial has been established in her name.
