Linda L. Runkle, 72, of Darlington, WI passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 14, 1945 to Elmer and Cecil (Boelk) Krupke in Apple River, IL. She married Melvin Runkle, and together they raised six sons. Linda worked for Barbara Coleman, doing assembly work. She was also a baker's assistant at a local bakery. She was also a personal care worker for Caring Hearts, and Homeward Bound for the past 10-15 years.

Linda is survived by her children; Ken (Kirsten) Runkle of Texas, Don Runkle of Oklahoma, Tom Runkle of Oklahoma, Jon (Joette) Of Dodgeville, WI, Lee Runkle of Oklahoma, Roy (Aldina) Runkle of Darlington, WI; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Lila Hellwick.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

A visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Bartell-Leamon Funeral Home in Warren.

Pastor Randy Nicholas will officiate the services.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial will be at Lena Burial Park in Lena, IL.

A memorial has been established in her name.
