Leveta M, Bussian, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Rochester, MN. She was born October 24, 1934 in Freeport, IL to Gilbert F. and Dolores M.(Yeakle) Miller. Leveta married Robert G. Bussian December 27, 1952 at the parsonage of St. John's United Church of Christ in Freeport, IL.

Leveta was employed by the Lena Farmer's Exchange and the United States Postal Service at the Rockford and Lena offices. Leveta was a member of the Lena United Methodist Church and a fifty-two year charter member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed playing in her Bridge Club and spending time with her family. Leveta was a twenty-eight year cancer survivor.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, of Lena, 2 sons: Dennis R. Bussian and Dr. Todd G. (Susan) Bussian all of Lena, two grandsons: Tyler J. Bussian and Nicholas T. Bussian.

Leveta was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Lena United Methodist Church.

Rev. Brian LeBaron and Ernie Stabenow Jr. will officiate the service.

Burial will be in Lena Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Mayo Clinic.
