Leone Marie Monigold passed away peacefully on October 9th in Grapevine, Texas.  She was born in Freeport, Illinois on December 19,1915.She graduated from Warren High School and married the love of her life, Henry Monigold. Leone and Henry lived in Illinois, Ohio and Texas.

She attended Bowling Green State University and obtained a certificate for Practical Nursing.

Leone and Henry travelled extensively.  They visited all 50 states and several countries.

She is survived by her grandson, Kirk, daughter-in-law, Marilyne, nieces Eileen Kauffman. Linda Claire, Falene Baumgartner,and sister-in-law Patricia Hendrix.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother. Leone was also preceded by her husband, Henry, son, Gary and daughter, Astrid.

Leone will be laid to rest at the Lena Burial Park in Lena, Illinois on November 5th, 2018.
