Obituary

Kristine K. Mohrbacher (Nelson) passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Waverly Place in Stockton. She was born on October 15, 1953 to Harry and Verda (Peterson) Nelson. She married Warren "Cowboy" Mohrbacher on February 3, 1984. Kristine loved animals and worked with animals throughout her life. She worked alongside her husband Cowboy at the racetracks; she broke horses and trained dogs. Her ability to work with animals was amazing. Kristine assisted in dog groomming, and did house cleaning. She worked hard, and played even harder. She loved all kinds of animals, but she especially loved horses and dogs. There were many pets throughout, but her most loved and her true companion was her precious German shepherd, Harley. Kristine loved music; blues and jazz, and loved to dance and have a good time. She was a loving wife, sister, and friend. Kristine loved many people, and enjoyed living life. She loved her porch parties, and her party lights.

Kristine is survived by her husband Cowboy, sisters; Sandra Marie Nelson of Madera, CA, Marjorie (Ron) Mapes of Stockton, IL, and Julie (Tommie) Nelson of Kiln, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Harry Ronald (Jackie) Nelson of Apple River, and Stanley "Bucky" Nelson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Apple River Park House on Saturday, August 11, at 1:00 PM for a pot luck celebration. The "dish to pass" is at Krissy's request. In her words, "No muss, no fuss." Krissy's sisters, Sandra, Marj, and Julie, along with special friend Margaret hope to see you there.
