Keith David Penniston, age 62 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.

He was born November 23, 1959, in Monroe Wisconsin, son of David and Audrey (Wuethrich) Penniston. Keith worked at The Club Esquire in Freeport for ten years, The Red Cedar Inn and various other restaurant jobs. He loved tending to his garden and landscaping. Keith renovated a few houses over the years and was a jack of all trades. He was a good artist who loved to draw. He would go antiquing and would redo many furniture pieces.

Keith is survived by his mother Audrey (Charlie) Fetterman of Lena; 1 brother- Todd (Tonya) Penniston of Freeport; 1 sister- Laurie (Brian) Mueller of Waddams Grove; 1 nephew Dylan Penniston.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents.
