Kayrl D. Stamm , 60, of Freeport, IL passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 6 , 2017 in Freeport, IL.  She was born on September 17, 1956 to Franklin and Genevive (Newman) Olson in Mount Clemens, Michigan . She married Jeff Stamm on October 13, 1990 at Laurel Street Community Church in Freeport, IL.  Kayrl enjoyed making jewelry, taking care of her cats, going out to eat, watching NCIS, and Law and Order, and sitting on the porch in the mornings with Jeff, watching the birds.

Kayrl is survived by her husband Jeff of Freeport, siblings; Carl (Esther) Olson, Kenneth (Betsy) Olson, Kerry (Kathy) Olson, Keith (Cindy) Olson, all of Michigan, brother-in-law; Gregory (Lee) Stamm of McConnell, IL, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and great nephew, Preston Carl Cook.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Leamon's Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Leamon's Funeral Home in Lena, IL.

Cremation rites to be accorded.
