Kathryn Marie Cramer, 94, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Presence St. Joseph Center in Freeport.  Kathryn was born on November 24, 1923 in Stephenson County to William and Edna (Wachlin) Borchardt.  She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Freeport.  Kathryn attended McConnell schools and then helped her parents on the family farm.  Kathyrn and her mother also did housekeeping for many years.  She then worked at FHN Memorial Hospital where she met her husband, Harry.  Harry and Kathryn were married on October 17, 1964 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lena by Rev. Robert C. Schmidt.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Private services will be held per her request.

A memorial has been established in her name.
