Justin K. Capp, 32 of Freeport, formerly of Lena, Illinois, passed away Thursday November 18, 2021. He was born October 22, 1989, in Monroe, Wisconsin to Jesse and Roberta (Kerr) Capp.

He was a graduate of Lena-Winslow High School Class of 2008. Justin served in the United States Army from 2008 to 2011, during that time he was deployed to Iraq. He loved the Minnesota Vikings, fishing, deer hunting, and basketball.  He also enjoyed watching Nascar.

Justin is survived by his parents; two brothers Austin Capp of Browntown, WI, Shawn Capp of Madison, WI; sister Elynore Capp of Lena; His beloved dog Giai; grandparents David Kerr Sr. of Cedarville, IL and Gwen Capp of Backus, MN; nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his brother Tyler, grandmother Donna Kerr and Grandfather Raymond Capp.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the Lena United Methodist Church in Lena, IL.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the Lena United Methodist Church.

Interment will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, Illinois.

Officiating will be Pastor Keri Rainsberger.
