Joyce M. Flannery, 90, of Orangeville, IL passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at SSM Monroe Clinic Hospital in Monroe, WI. She was born on August 11, 1934, in rural Orangeville, IL to Karl and Edna (Rote) Kneller.

Joyce was the proud owner of Joyces Beauty Shop located in Orangeville, Il where she cut and styled her community members' hair for 67 years. She also proudly served her community as Village Clerk for 30 years. Joyce was involved in the Orangeville Women's club, Malcom Eaton Center and volunteered with the Orangeville Fire Department,

Joyce is survived by her two children, Kurt of Orangeville, Vicky of Columbus, OH, sister Delores Rackow of Freeport and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and Joe Romanowski.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Edna, brothers, Roger, Elmer and Paul and sister Esther Otto.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Orangeville United Methodist Church in Orangeville, IL.

A luncheon to follow at the church.

Pastor Roger Bronkema will be officiating the service.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory for the Orangeville Fire Department.
