Jonnie V. Uecker, age 89, formerly of Lena, passed away.  She was born on November 22, 1934 in Hemingway South Carolina to James and Lottie (Jones) Rawls. She married Ralph Uecker Sr. on November 7, 1953 in Aiken, South Carolina. Jonnie was a very independent and feisty person. She loved solving puzzles. Jonnie had a good long life, she will be missed.

Jonnie is survived by her son Ralph Jr. (Wanda) Uecker; two daughters- Paula Bauscher and Kathy Jo Uecker; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister Willa Dean (Richard) Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph Sr; two brothers- James Rawls Jr. and Cegial Rawls; three sisters- Beatrice Ray, Jacquilne Avant, and Julia Anne Rish.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
