Jerrall L. Fox, age 83, of Lena passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, September 06, 2026. He was born on January 22, 1943, in Lena, IL to Allen and Jane (Lyons) Fox. Jerrall married Sharon Eacker on September 24, 1967, at St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Kent, IL and together they raised their 2 daughters. There were many evenings you would find Jerrall and Sharon line dancing in their younger years. He had a lifelong career at Kelly Tire and retired from there after 37 years working in the shipping department. For many years as well, he tended to their farmette that was outside of Warren, IL. They raised various animals including; pigs, cattle, chickens, ducks, and sheep. When he was younger he enjoyed singing and was a member of a Barber Shop Quartet for several years.

Jerrall was a very talented carpenter, creating beautiful wooden Angles, picnic tables, picture frames and other pieces with beautiful intricate lattice work. He also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and putting together model train displays. He was a Lena Lions Club member and every year he looked forward to helping at the Lena Fall Festival at the ham stand and bingo tent.

Jerrall is survived by his wife Sharon of Lena, IL; two daughters- Kathy (James) Williams of Stockton, IL and Karen (John) Gaubatz of Troy, IL; one brother Bob (MaryAnn) Fox of Bloomington, WI and their children- Allen Fox, Micheal (Courtney) Fox and Christina (Nate) Barnhart and children; brother-in-law- Robert Smith of Hanover, IL and Brenda (Mark) Warren of Rockton, IL and their children, Duane (Terrie) Lutz and their children, Robert (Tammy) Smith Jr. and their children; step sisters- Nancy McKenna and Elenor Getz and their families, brother-in-law- Marvin (Patti) Eacker of Argo Faye, IL and their sons and families and Fred Flickinger of Milan, IL and sons and families; sister-in-law- Lorena Eacker of Warren, IL and son Robin.

He was preceded by his parents, twin sister Judy Smith, father and mother-in-law: Fred and Helen Eacker, step-father: Elwood Micheals, brother-in-law: Clarence Eacker, sister-in-law: Patricia Flickinger, step- sister: Betty (Jerry) McKenna and step brother-in-law: Art Getz.

A funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lena, IL. With a visitation from 1:00 pm until time of service.

Pastor Jason Shaw will be officiating the services.

Burial will take place at the Lanark Cemetery in Lanark, IL.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
