Winslow – Jenny A. Campbell 89, of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, North Carolina. Jenny was born on March 4, 1925 in Freeport, IL. She was the daughter of Thomas and Carmen Cali. She graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Freeport, IL. on August 31, 1946. Jenny worked as a R.N. at St. Francis and St. Clare Hospitals. She retired after 25 years from St. Clare on December 15, 1986. She was an avid reader and loved to crochet, knit and embroidery. Jenny married Thomas A. Campbell on November 29, 1947 in Freeport, IL. Thomas passed away on July 31, 1997.

Jenny is survived by her daughter Christine (Jamie) Crawford of Hendersonville, N.C. one granddaughter Joelle Sterkowicz of Atlanta, GA. and two great-grandchildren Sara and Alden. Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas, and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Rock Lily Cemetery in Winslow, IL.

Officiating will be Rev. Randy Nicholas

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Monday at Leamon Funeral Home in Winslow, IL. prior to the Graveside service.
