Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Waters, 74 of Apple River, IL, passed away with his loving family by his side on Monday, February 3, 2025, at SSM Monroe Hospital in Monroe, WI. He was born on June 27, 1950 in Peoria, IL to William and Mary (Hieronymus) Waters. Jeff proudly served his country in the US Navy for several years.  He married Cindy Hittle on October 27, 1979, in Peoria, IL and several years later he moved to Stockton, IL where he raised his family.

Jeff was an electrician and took his skill to Kelly Springfield where he worked until his retirement in 2016. Following his father's profession, Jeff enjoyed carpentry and was a jack of all trades and a fix it man.  Fondly known as Papa, he was adored by his grandkids and attended their various events.

Jeff is survived by wife, Cindy, his children- Jeff II (Shereen), Kim (Damon), Jeani (Justin) , Bill ( Jo), Catharyne (Brice) and grandchildren-  Kristina (Mike), Cynthia (Shane), Meranda, Alayna (Michael), Jeffrey III (Casey), Kylee (Morgen), Maggie, Sami, Raymond, Ryder, Cole, Olivia, Evelyn and Avery; great grandchildren- Maisey, Kennedy, Rhett, Keeva, Graham, Madelynn and more on the way; sisters- Janice, Mary Jo, and June and brother Jerome as well as many extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Jamie, special grandma- Ameda; Mother-in-law- Maggie and numerous other family members.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00- 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Apple Canyon Lake Club House.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
