Jean M. Tesmer, 79, of Lena, formerly of Warren, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Lena, IL.  She was born on March 9, 1945, to Herman and Edna (Tessendorf) Tesmer in Freeport, IL. She spent her younger years on her family's farm in rural Warren, IL until her father moved to town in 1969. Jean loved playing games, drawing, and spending time with family, especially her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jean is survived by her aunt- Lillian Seffrood of Warren, IL, nephew- Raymond (Teresa) Tesmer of Warren, IL niece- Renee (Chris) Lacher of Stockton, IL, Cousins- Jerry Akins, Ann McKiniley, John Seffrood, Karen Seffrood and Rhonda Seffrood; and five great nieces and nephews- Tabitha and Zachery Lacher, and Kelsey, Tanner, and Madison Tesmer.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Edwin "Ed" Tesmer and Aunt Tessi.

A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, IL

Cremation rites have been accorded.
